Here are some of the exciting projects and events that Peter will be involved in over the next few months: September sees him travel to Brussels as an ambassador for the Arts Council NI for Culture Night. October he will be launching 'Nuke It From Orbit' panel show for the Belfast Comedy Festival and the November 2017 will see the launch of his brand new hour long show 'Fopical' as part of two great days of comedy at The Playhouse.
Peter rounded up 2017 with a guest appearance on the BBC Radio Ulster stand up showcase 'Live at the Sunflower.' The show was hosted by comedian Shane Todd and produced by Owen McFadden. Recorded towards the end of November and broadcast early December 2017, the show also featured stellar turns from Conor Keys, Neil Dougan, Miscast Belfast and Peter's Nuke It From Orbit buddy Lorcan McGrane.
‘Nuke it from Orbit’ is a brand new comedy panel show about all things nerdy; Marvel to DC, Star Wars to Trek via Gate.
Various games about various thrones. This is a show not just for the die-hards but also for those who don’t know they’re Romulans from their Remans. Two teams of top local comedians will battle it out to see who is the geekiest of them all!
The show is created by your host Peter E Davidson (Guns N’ Rose, Edinburgh Fringe, Masons Comedy) and team captain Bobby Best (Badly Cut Fringe, Big Tickle, Comic City Podcast).
There will be live stand up comedy, audience interaction, spot prizes and then the podcast recording itself which will be available after the gig for all attendees to download and enjoy!
Londonderry Comedian Peter E Davidson and singer/songwriter Larks will bring a Northern Irish flavour to Brussels with their Culture Night performances on Friday September 22 as part of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s Brussels Platform. Hosted by the Northern Ireland Executive Office in Brussels, Culture Night will attract an audience including officials from the EU Institutions and across the diplomatic community.
The Brussels Platform is a collaboration between the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Executive Office which offers local musicians, writers, dancers, theatre practitioners and visual artists the opportunity to showcase their talents in Brussels with the aim of promoting the culture and creativity of Northern Ireland in Europe.
Following a successful 25 show run at the recent Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Derry’s Peter E Davidson will perform his comedy show, Guns N’ Rosé. The show sees him talk about himself as a rosé wine drinker adrift in a sea of Guinness, the cult of brosé, doomed romances and awkward social encounters.
The world makes so little sense these days and scrambling to make sense of it all is Peter E Davidson, a man who can barely scramble out of bed in the morning. Prepare to fathom the world of Trump, May and Foster through the Rosé wine tinted eyes of a ginger bearded fop.
You know, for the writing or the acting or the art work or maybe a little video making or whatnot? Or maybe a little conversation about Dr Who or Ghostbusters... That stuff is always gold.
